Beings of mystery and perhaps older than even the great old ones themselves, the Yithians as they call themselves are rumored to be not physical beings as we would know, but are instead a form of cosmic sentience what desired a solid form to explore the millions if not zillions of dimensions and pocket dimensions. Yithians are not evil but callous, due to their ages old rivalry with the great old ones, and trust few if any other beings. During the pre-Shoguz (DINOZORD) era they formed a strong alliance with the ELDER THINGS and the two peoples used their extensive knowledge of science and mysticism to trap many of the great old ones on Earth. The yithians also went to war with the hideous FLYING POLYPS and are the only creatures that can traverse the dimensions without being molested by the HOUNDS OF TINDALOS.
